High-Performing Remote Freight Broker (Path to Director of Brokerage)

We’re hiring a top-performing Freight Broker who can immediately contribute by growing and managing a robust book of business. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The right candidate will have a clear trajectory to become our Director of Brokerage as they demonstrate leadership, operational excellence, and consistent revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Prospect, onboard, and grow shipper and carrier relationshipsBuild and manage a profitable book of business with minimal oversightNegotiate rates and contracts with shippers and carriersEnsure smooth execution of freight movements with attention to service and marginLead by example with daily KPIs in sales, gross margin, and service levelsCollaborate with leadership on brokerage strategy, technology implementation, and hiringMentor junior brokers and play a key role in building out the brokerage team
What We're Looking For:
3 years of experience as a freight broker or logistics sales rep with proven revenue generationStrong negotiation and relationship management skillsSelf-motivated, disciplined, and able to thrive in a remote settingA leadership mindset — someone who wants to grow a team, not just a bookExperience with TMS and freight platforms like DAT, Truckstop, and MacropointFamiliarity with domestic truckload, LTL, intermodal, and/or expedited services
Preferred Qualifications:
History of generating proven revenue annually as an individual contributorPrevious experience training or managing brokersStrong financial acumen and understanding of brokerage P&LAbility to help shape brokerage SOPs, processes, and toolsAbility to hit the ground running with existing relationships
